Re: problem with first layers

One of my close buddies (brother from another mother) turned me on to Wolfbite - glass bed adhesion solution, and I have never been sorry for using it. My first layer is always stuck to the bed and in place, and it's easy to apply and clean up after. I get a good dozen prints before I need to re-app...

Re: pause when no more material

Still trying to find the answer to my run-out sensor that doesn't trigger my Rambo board for a filament change out - see my above posts.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Re: pause when no more material

OK - figured that challenge out and the code compiled and uploaded - now time to test. Wanted to drop the code and the working notes here as I may not be able to for a few more days. Note lots of comments - just to keep my thoughts working. //=======Runout Sensor work===============================...

Re: pause when no more material

OK - I got an error when compiling and uploading the reconfigured firmware Here is the code.. #define FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR #if ENABLED(FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR) #define NUM_RUNOUT_SENSORS 1 // Number of sensors, up to one per extruder. Define a FIL_RUNOUT#_PIN for each. #define FIL_RUNOUT_INVERTING...

I used the Y max endstop and mapped that in the firmware.

Re: Power Tap - Where To ?

Box looks nice, good job Thank You - I'll be posting the files soon - after the installation I have a couple slight changes I need to make. I put one buck converter in just to slow down the cooling fan since I doubled it's size - Lots of cooling going on, and the reduction of fan noise is substanti...

Re: storing PLA

I struggled with how to handle / store my filament. Tried a number of different processes including using a small vacuum pump to evacuate the large ziplock type bags i purchased on-line. The vacuum pump was a hassle and it didn't take long for the seal to allow more air back in the bag. 2 plus years...

Power Tap - Where To ?

After much design and re-design I am near finished with my Rambo board and accessories enclosure. Using anothers initial design I reworked all things to fit and function. I have spots for 3 buck converters inside and the first one slows the new case cooling fan to a comfortable level and still crank...
