Re: USB Controlled Quad Outlet Box
Unsure about the control of it though - it would be nice if it were kinda self contained (ie: no requirement to add a fixed computer into the mix), so vaguely considering infrared, bluetooth or network (would prefer one of the latter as it doesn't require line of sight and could be controlled from ...

Keeping this in mind for my homebrew calculator project. I got an HP-25 for my 18th birthday (not a car), perfect for a long career in engineering. HP calculators from the last version of the HP-35 thru the 45, 70, 80, 55, 65, 21/22/25/27/29C, 31E/32E/33E/33C/34C/37E/38E/38C, 41C/CV/CX and the 10C/1...

Re: How to use S3D's terminal commands for post processing?
IIRC, there are printers that use some binary communication instead of text-based human-readable G-code. Perhaps this is there to call up a separate program to convert the output of the slicer (the .GCODE file) to the target binary format for the (non-MG) printer.... Or maybe feed it into other stan...

Re: nema17 dampers
Assuming that is the corner near pin 1, I can see your quality issue clearly: heck of a solder joint (or lack thereof) at pin (n-2). Not too good on the one next to that. Somebody's reflow oven needs some tuning in the temperature control area...

Re: M2 Kit Sales To Pause
Oh, there are SOOOOO many reasons I don't have my own business! As stated elsewhere on the forum, being a Professional Crastinator is the main one, but "no business sense" is right up there!!! So I work for "the man". Diff'rent strokes.... Actually, I'm thinking of ordering business cards with a new...

Re: 3-Axis Cable Chain Upgrade
Hey, Justine! Thanks for all the great documentation and files on this --- STLs for all the printed parts, catalog numbers for all the purchased parts, and nice directions with pictures. For those following the thread, if you assembled your M2 from kit (as I did), this should be very straightforward...

Re: 3-Axis Cable Chain Upgrade
If done properly it reduces tension on the cables, which reduces the chances of a cable breaking from flexing at odd angles. It also makes it much easier to replace a broken cable. Yup!..... Cool! 8-) Is there any benefit to the cable chain over the wrap? (Aside from the looks, which are rockin' a ...

Hey Pyro! If yours are all females, see if Rick can send you a male this time.
Problem solved.
