Re: Calibration for "Perfect" filament adjustment?
As you say, extrusion rate can depend upon the filament diameter and other considerations. However, are we not all trying to get a specific rate of liquid filament coming out of the nozzle? If not, how can the machine control system expect to deposit the correct amount, per second of travel? Indepen...

Calibration for "Perfect" filament adjustment?
The following is a somewhat long question, but I would be very interested in any replies, and as usual, it would help my understanding of the 3-D printing controls, and possible assist in troubleshooting the whole machine. So, I am beginning this post through an intersection of observation and frust...

Just the M2.
As all of us.... I did a lot of research before purchase and still do not see any other machines currently on the market which would change my mind.

Re: Gaps near through-holes in ABS
i wanted to folow up with some results for my problem. First, the problem when away when I used a single shell, so it looks like the two shells were just not touching at all, but the infill in the field did end up touching the singel shell and making a good structure. Second, I measured my filament,...

Re: Need some advice on how to respond
Rick- My advice to you is to always take the high road. I say this knowing that people take the tone and content of the review and into account when deciding. Currently, I see NO bad review on Amazon, so whatever you are seeing is not viable to me as part of your reviews in the past 4 months. I saw ...

Re: Gaps near through-holes in ABS
well the multiplier is for fine tuning and what you have there isnt fine tuning. did you measure your filament and set the dia. if its just a little off that will cause an over or under extrude far greater than you can make by moving the multiplier a little. Yes, I did measure the filament, and it'...

Re: Gaps near through-holes in ABS
I see no differences in this problem for Extrusion Multipliers set to either .90. 95 (my normal) or 1.0. For the width, I use the auto setting.j-rod wrote:almost looks like your extrusion multiplier is too low for the configured extrusion width. what is the width set to?

Gaps near through-holes in ABS
I was printing Jim's fan covers (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:267921) in MG white ABS, and I'm getting gaps near the holes in the corners. The gaps are so much that the inner "Holes" actually fell out of the structure. I have taken a photo (below) which shows the result. I am using the High qual...

Re: Dual Extruder Upgrade - Limited Availability
Wow, get busy on a long weekend and see what comes out!
YES! Might as well see what this whole Dual-extruder does. I'm really excited out the all-metal so I can print the 270deg material I have sitting here.

Re: Clog clearing and extruder disassembly: help!
Jin its sprayable stripper from kleen strip. I think they have it in quarts and gallons. Just soak the tube for a couple hours then a pipe cleaner or something to run through the barrel will clean it right out. Soak the nozzle as well. I have never pulled the ptfe out of the peek like that so im no...
