Re: Metal Extruder Motor Mount - availabile

Hey over$pent, I see you have some fan relocation as well as the bearing mod. Did your stepper need that fan? What are you using for a bed/print fan, if any? Hey willnewton, I mostly use Esun PetG, Maker Filament PetG (made in USA with good pricing), Taulman 645 and 910, Esun ePC, and both ninja fl...

Re: Metal Extruder Motor Mount - availabile

I thought someone might notice that. I had issues with the ninja flex moving around on the drive gear and giving inconsistent extrusion, so I came up with the larger wheel (more contact area) with the circular cut to match the filament. This part presses over the existing bearing and required a rede...

Re: Metal Extruder Motor Mount - availabile

I had the same issue with the first wire box in that it was a pain to change hot ends often and quickly. I use PetG, nylon, ePC, ninja flex, etc. on a daily basis switching between them and came up with my own design with a "fastener-less" lid. Then after talking with tech support on some other item...

Re: Setting Max Temp?

I was unable to get the M143 to work on my M2. In another topic discussion, jsc cleared this up.

Note all the red "No"s in the support table. Unsupported. You'll have to edit the firmware.

Re: Nylon printing issues.

Thanks for clearing that up. I might reference this link in the "max temp" discussion topic so others don't have the same problem I had.

Re: Nylon printing issues.

Have you tried the M143 to change the max temp setting? I tried it last night and it did not work for me, still hit the max temp at 270 and shuts the extruder off. Just wondering if anyone else tried it yet with any success.

Thanks,
Dave

Re: Vertical Mount Filament Drive

Gary, I really like your filament drive design, nice job and well thought out, and was wondering if you would share the CAD as well. I am interested in changing the design to accommodate the V3B hot end. The elimination of the point contact of the bearing on the filament is an awesome idea. This min...
