Printing with Ninjaflex?

Has anyone been able to successfully print ninjaflex with the M3? Any tips would be appreciated, I just got myself a roll and have been reading online for resources but haven't found much in relation to the M3.

Cheers

Visible layers and startpoints

Hi everyone, I recently printed out this low poly pokemon and I am seeing a ton of visible layers and blobs (see attached image below). I am using default MG M3 Independent duel settings which are the following: Speed: 3500 mm/min layer height: 0.2mm use randomized start points for all perimeters I ...

Re: M3 T1 Extruder Motor pausing/skipping/retracting

Thanks ednisley, that was very helpful. After taking of the fan and look at the extruding mechanism, the gear with teeth appeared fine and was rotating normally, however the smooth wheel was slowing down and stopping occasionally, thus not pushing filament through consistently. I took of the ABS pie...

M3 T1 Extruder Motor pausing/skipping/retracting

Hi Everyone, Basically when I feed filament through the motor, it comes through the nozzle but you here a skipping noise ever so often, when you look at the gear/motor on the extruder you can see that it slows down, stops, and retracts all in a matter of seconds before it continues going forward. I ...

MG3 IDEX Duplication Mode - extruders hit eachother

Hi Everyone, I recently received my printer and have tried duplication mode. I have only had one successful attempt, where as in all the other prints (even the same ones) the extruders hit each other during priming? I set up the print on Simplify3D using the makergear provided FFF duplication mode f...

Re: MAKERGEAR M3-ID reviews

I am also interested in how the M3 duel extruders avoid contamination when using 2 materials. They don't have any dump/priming buckets on the side to clean their nozzles nor any system like that, is this correct? I also was wondering how well the extruders work together i.e mirror mod and how they m...

M3 ID PVA + PLA builds

Hi Everyone, I have been looking to purchase a new 3d printer for a while now (for work) and we have narrowed it down to the ultimaker 3 and the mg3. I am having trouble deciding between the two but think I am leaning towards the MG3. I was wondering if anyone who prints with PVA regularly, can tell...
