Play in Y-axis bearing

Hello, I have an M2 and was wondering how I would remove the play in the Y-axis linear bearing? I can see what appears to be adjustment screws on each end but wanted to make sure before I ruin anything. I'm also not sure how to tell which end has the play. Also, my Rambo box cooling fan is dying and...

High temp extruder?

What extruder/hot end is everyone using for high temp filaments. Seems the V3b lacks in high temps and doesn't allow for many mat'l choices. Will Matterhacker's E3D work on the M2?

Controlling Viki LCD

Can anyone tell me where to find info on Viki's screens. Also, how do I manually extrude from the screen to get a new filament set up. I've done it before but now can't locate the right screen. Thanks!

Re: Newest S3D not sequence printing?

Guess I really didn't pay much attention to the estimate until there was money involved. What a worthless feature, more of a toy than a production feature. Do you suppose the length of filament/cost of filament is bogus too? In my thinking that should be accurate because the program's dealing with l...

Re: Newest S3D not sequence printing?

Jimc, that tutorial is actually where I learned how to do sequential printing and refer to it when having any problems. Unfortunately it doesn't cover my issue. The clearance issues the tutorial goes into is the clearance around a printed part so the part doesn't collide with any part of the printer...

Re: Newest S3D not sequence printing?

Jimc, can't zip a folder on my Vista nightmare. Have to find time to fix yet another windows problem i know I didn't create! Will update this thread when able. Also, when you are printing multiple models, you are given the option of doing it layer by layer, or sequential printing. Sequential prints ...

Newest S3D not sequence printing?

In sequence mode set at a 6mm height with 4 models and their respective processes, S3D wants to bury the extruder into the first model after completing it-maybe trying to reach z=0 -and then drags right through the first model ripping up everything in its path and twisting the extruder in its housin...

Re: M2 part failure, HELP!

Thanks for that assurance Tim, I printed the new one in PET and it worked out great. Playing with the old part I realized it must have been suffering from heat stroke for some time because the rest of the strap crumbled in my hand. Hoping the PET will last longer. Jim, yes original extruder mount I ...
