Re: 3D Printed CoronaVirus Respirators

I'm working with 3DPPGH, Pittsburgh's 3D printing user group on (mostly) face shields. My March 2013 M2 is still going strong printing a remix of the Prusa shield. Contact me if you want to help out with printing, or you can help by donating to or sharing the GoFundMe we launched for materials at bi...

Re: Who is going to Rapid?

I was intending to as I live in Pittsburgh, but will be on business travel. Was hoping to see you and say hello. Enjoy the 'burgh.

Re: Things are too quiet.....eerily quiet.....

I use a layer or two of blue shop paper towels when I'm in a hurry. I never timed the heat up, but it sure seems to be a fair bit faster.

I've packed it it with some styrofoam in a rubbebermaid tub to bring to the local Maker Faire, last fall when I ran out of time to build something better. Re: The M2 24V upgrade

I figured I'd need to do the PID tuning. MakerGear didn't enclose any instructions (I assume in error), and I didn't see anything on the wiki specific to installing the upgrade, but now see there are links to 24V firmware. I emailed support, and expect to hear from them shortly. I have a little work...

Re: The M2 24V upgrade

I've finally gotten around to picking up the 24V upgrade on a mid March 2013 M2. Are there any firmware changes or mods to the Rambo needed? Thanks in advance.

Re: metric drill bit set?

I'm happy with these. Good quality, reasonable price for light duty.
