That is a great Idea, do you have a picture and or a link? I am currently in the middle of printing a billion freaking squares.. could have been done hours ago with a dial indicator..

Nutin? No one has remove the extruder and hot end to install a dial indicator to measure bed level and gantry sag? I saw a post where someone mounted the DI on the gantry with a phone clamp.. would prefer it to be on the x axis directly for repeatable measurements before and after shimming X rail......

I am making parts and would like to know How many layers I should have my bed temp @ 80c, my hot end is at 255 and a slower prints speed. The part is tall and about 1/8 inch thick. Nothing... you will lean that 5 hours is 7.. they updated S3D to 4.1.1 and print time was supposed to be more accurate but they introduced a million major bugs making the software seem rather useless when reading their forum so I did not update.
