Re: Expiration Date on Filament?

Yes Ninjaflex is like other filaments and will absorb moisture. Instead of becoming brittle like other filaments it will begin to lose other properties. I mainly deal with functional parts in nylon or tpe so drying is a must if I start to see problems. Some of the issues you may see are extra string...

Re: Expiration Date on Filament?

You should be good with the sealed stuff so long as there aren't any holes in the packaging. If you have a bit of trouble, there is definitely a need to dry the filaments. The opened stuff would benefit from drying. Filaments outside of PLA should definitely be dried(ABS, Nylon, TPU...). I use a foo...

Re: nema17 dampers

I have had dampers installed on my M2E X and Y axis for about a year and the difference is pretty big in the noise department and there have not been any problems even having only two bolts tying the motor to the frames.

Re: Connecting new MG3-ID to Simplify3d?

It requires shutting down the octoprint session. After it is shutdown simplify will run fine. It looks like this will have to be done every time the power is turned on.
