I was in the same place when I bought my printer. I went assembled because I wanted to make sure I started out with no operator/assembler errors. No matter what you decide I recommend getting the S3D software. I was printing out of the box in a day.

I have used Squadron Green Putty on model RR projects.
It did start to extrude after 3 tries. The final print came out fine. Tomorrow I will probably be snowed in. Plenty of test time. This forum has been a great help even before it arrived.
Exactly 1 month and it's here. Set up and connected to my Mac book pro running Simplify 3d software. Exported a thingiverse filament clip. Watched the bed heat up then the extruder. No filament the first time or the second. Third time it passed over the bed and extruded whiskers. Re read my notes. W...
