that kind of thing happens when there is a problem with the model. a few of us here have printed this and never said anything so i find that surprising not to mention silvers seems pretty thorough and would be on top of mesh errors. i downloaded the stl and i ran it through netfabb and it looks fine...

yes i have heard some guys just using a rubber grommet. just cut it so it can be opened up and put around the z-screw. whatever works i guess

yes, i just remember once i did what i had to do then something interrupted me for what i thought was just a few seconds and as i was reaching for the mouse.....bed dropped :roll: start print all over

to confirm toby's suspicions, you can pause the print either sd or usb, use the jog panel, move the extruder to the side, do your change then hit resume print and it will jog back to where it stopped and continue. sometime it starts off slow but it will do it. the pause button changes to resume when...

you will need to email karen, rick or support. the new fans are 24v and ball bearing type. if you have 12v fans now then i guess you can replace with 12v. i would assume your firmware is set to limit current to those. i cant keep track of all the variations between firmwares, hot ends, fans and powe...

170deg is the cutoff temp. its a safety to stop cold extrusion.
