Re: retro gaming system

Unfortunately every game has different inputs for the controller. Fire button for instance, you never know what button that will be. Each game has its own controller settings which are set at a default and may be right on some but not others.

Re: Extruder Acceleration - Holy Crap!

what would filament extrusion have anything to do with ghosting artifacts? the ghosting is from the vibrations traveling through the machine during a sudden movement change. this was the whole reason the cory xy gantry system was designed by that team at MIT.

Re: 123D Design Shutting Down

being a veteran myself i got solidworks a couple few years back. was 20 bucks for the shipping. i never really got into it though. i didnt want to confuse myself trying to learn two different programs at the same time. didnt hear about the free training though. that would have been awesome.

Re: Brittle Black PLA

I javent had a tangle make it the whole spool but i have had it go 1/2 spool before. It can happen. The tangle just keeps traveling. In any case its always important when handling a spool to never let that end of the filament go.

Re: What are the best flexible filaments?

if you dont need super soft material then cheetah will give you much cleaner prints. any of the real soft ones like ninjaflex take some trial and error to get right. you really cant print super clean with them since retraction basically doesnt work. they will ooze all over the place during travel mo...

Re: Brittle Black PLA

pyro, on the user end of things, leaving it out and and allowing it to absorb moisture will cause it. thats about the only thing. on the mfg end, just a bad batch or formulation.

Re: What are the best flexible filaments?

really the best stuff out there is ninjaflex for the softer materials. only drawback is fenner is extremely proud of it as you can see with the price. esun has a few with different properties. i believe the eflex is the one that is very much like ninjaflex. its rubber band like. stretch it and it sp...
