there is a slightly modified version of the current makergear extruder on thingyvers that was altered to make printing tpu easier.. That along with a new drive gear make all the difference in the world with TPU and other soft filament.

Sounds worse than the old manual method of printing the appropriate 2 walled square, measure and make z offset change with M206 and M500.. Why in gods name would you need to run a mesh level with every print.. manually level the bed, run mesh and be done with it for the year.. My simple M2 does not ...

In order of most likely, Z offset too high, nozzle partially clogged, Filament drive slipping, all assuming same gcode that printer correctly before you messed with the glass as you said nothing changed.

I would also recommend the M2 but I am even considering a Prusa just to try it out.. I am active on a UK based 3d print forum and the junk that people buy and expect to work just amazes me.. I don't even mention the M2 as the remarks I get are "That is over priced machine and nothing special.. no be...

I would highly suggest calling support and ask them to send you a new bed as well as help you understand why this happened..
