esun epa jamming up the drive

Hey just tired to use some eSun EPA in my M2 with at .25 nozzle after using abs with no issues. Had nozzle at 250 and loaded it up and as it extruded it would eventually stop after 30 mm or so and strip out. I eventually ended up with it all wrapped around the the filament drive and had to take it a...

M2 v4 Extruder Headlights

Wanted more light on the part so I installed a couple of LED on the back of the bed fan. I also removed the finger guards from both fans to reduce the noise and move more air. Parts List is: 2 NTE30045 White LEDs (local Micro center) 1 560 ohm resistor Arduino male and female headers 2 pins worth of...

Re: stringing with the standard settings

I am about 4 days ahead of you.. I had my white PLA out using it for a few day in about 50% humidity before doing the simple string test model I found online and I has some fin strings.. Cranked the retraction speed way up and was better. I then ordered a Presto Food dehydrator and ran the pla in it...

Re: dent & tail at end, opposite corner a mess

When you're tuning slicer settings, change one thing at a time and keep track of what you're doing. Changing All The Things generally produces awful results, leaves you with a broken configuration, and wastes far more time than a systematic (pronounced "boring") exploration of the possibilities. (*...

dent & tail at end, opposite corner a mess

So I have about 2 dozen solid calibration squares. I'm about burnt out of ideas on what setting to change. Tried wipe with different lengths, Coast with different lengths, single extrude endpoint extension distance, retraction speed, force retraction on layer change, direction inside out and outside...

MG black PLA vs White PLA

I have both, the black does not extrude correctly and clogs the the nozzle. The white works fine. The black is rough to the touch, the white is smooth as glass. Looking at the black under magnification it is cracked and covered with clearish crystals. I sent email with pics to tech support and they ...

Re: size accuracy and finish

Oh one other thing I did read.. Z0 should touch build when the plate and extruder are at operating temp.. So maybe that feeler is the expansion amount?

Re: size accuracy and finish

What am i missing? Nothing: you're becoming a careful observer, which is all good! changed to .02 layer height If that's really 0.02 mm, then they layers are way too thin for anything other than bragging contests. If it's 0.02 inch = 0.5 mm, then it's way too thick. Metric units are the default in ...
