Re: Expiration Date on Filament?

Thanks, I had kind of figured that to be the case ..But to tell the truth, I have not googled the question yet. Since the stuff we not really vacuum sealed I did't think it was hydroscopic but probably should goggle it now :)

Re: M2 x/y stepper isolation dampers NinjaFlex!

They look to be the same size! If you have not used NinjaFlex, it is a little temperamental.. This was my first use of it and I had to rig a gravity feed for the spool. It is kind of a must as it does not feed well so pulling it up didn't work well at all. Also .5 nozzle and really slow.. 10mmS.. I ...

M2 x/y stepper isolation dampers NinjaFlex!

I have no idea on longevity but these work great without the Twist offset of the shaft that you get with the pre-made steal dampers that only use 2 screws to anchor to the frame. Not Dead silent but close! I saw the STL on Thingivers and the person who had made them had a drawing with measurement so...

That is simple S3D is the manufactures (MakerGear) recommended software. S3D is a supported paid product S3D is only $150 and at this point and does not have a recurring support cost. S3D will be releasing an update in the near future so you will have the latest and greatest. Good luck with the Bean...

Re: Need Flexible Filament advice

6mmS .. Ok, had it running at 8 and it seemed to work better a bit faster. Just finished a spool center for the little slash spool to put it on a dowel above the printer.. Also, the NinjaFlex dampers work fairly well, not as good as a real damper for noise, but a good amount of noise reduction "with...

Simplified 3D is the recommended slicing software which will let you do all of that I believe. I do not have the dual so sit tight the gurus stop by later in the evening every day or so.

Re: can I use glass plate with Kapton tape down?

just put the hair spray or glue stick on the tape.. Washes off just the same.
I would assume the only reason you are using hair spray or glue stick is to get the part off the tape, as I have found nothing that won't stick to it.. EPA, PETG all sticks like it was dipped in CA adhesive.
