Re: Geetech LCD
Thanks Will. That's what MG just told me. Seems odd though. Does anyone know a way to override that and keep the fan on? It is usually around eighy/ninety degrees where I have my M2 setup. I don't want to kill my board since I tend to have it powered up for long periods without printing anything.

Ha! That's what I started doing. About two minutes in I said F it and just waited for it to get closer to the drive.

Awesome! I just did this on accident the other night. I didn't realize I was about to run out of filament mid-print. Just chased the old spool with the new. Worked like a charm!

Geetech LCD
Does anyone else have MG's new style LCD? After I upgraded my firmware I lost my electronics enclosure fan. Would any of you guys know how I can get that little guy up and running? I don't want to run my M2 without it so I am dead in the filament so to speak.
Thanks!
Thanks!

The really cool thing here is the versatility. Like, you could totally make mini Death Stars, or cruddy fake oranges, or...mannequin...parts...

Makes sense to me! Thanks guys.willnewton wrote:Mark, I think you are referring to the Machine Control Panel that spits g-code and temp process info when the Verbose box is checked. Jim is referring to the G-code Scripts tab within the print settings dialog.

Re: bug in Simplify3D?
Why would you not heat your bed for PLA? My prints come out much better since I stopped using the bed heater. Zero heat distortion on the lower layers which I was even getting through the raft. I will give that a look tonight Jim. Something that may be connected that I left out is that S3D is const...

Re: bug in Simplify3D?
Another bug/user error issue:
After a print my bed heater has a tendency to pop on. When it happens I lose manual control over both my bed heater and hot end. Any ideas why this happens? I run PLA so my bed is never heated which just adds to my confusion.

I did go through MG. It took the better part of a working day to get to the appropriate link. Like the man said, they shoved it out the door. That's not on me man.
