I did one or 2 prints on blue painters tape. I switched to plain glass, no kapton, with the heated bed and haven't looked back since.

For shiny, reflective, or transparent surfaces, there is a spray that you can spray on and it will make the surfaces white. It will disappear within 24 hours. The alternative is athletes foot powder spray...much cheaper
