I am kinda with you on this one. I have a rostock max V1. It has the potential to print really big parts. I just got my M3ID. We know how big the volume is. I just received my M3 ID. I have had a Seemecnc rostock max V1 as my first and only printer. I only printed ABS on it as I could never get PLA to print well. I am having some stringing problems with the M3ID using PLA. I built a crappy enclosure out of cardboard and the extruder that is not being us...

Just got my M3ID. I bought it because of the duplication mode. Using S3D, I tried a model..... The both heads homed and then the T1 head crashed into the T0 head and all went downhill from there. First time using S3D. Checked everything and nothing looked wrong. Posted the Gcode again and same thing...
