Re: Can I Print Directly on the MakerGear Heated Bed Platfor
Thank you both for your input! I will avoid! As for the MIC6 plate cut, can prints be printed on that without tape and is the height the same height as the glass plates or do I need to alter the starting height with the leveling process again?

Can I Print Directly on the MakerGear Heated Bed Platform?
I've read in many third party sources that users can print on the MakerGear Heated Bed Platform directly as well as the glass plates without tape nor any other stick material, is this remotely true?

Thank you! Will do! It looks like MakerGear has a set of 3 in clearance that have minor marks. No problem for me as long as it isn't already sharding!

I Broke My Glass Bed Plate, Where Can I Buy Another One?
Would I get this or is this just the sticky tape? https://www.amazon.com/Tempered-Blue-Steel-Spring-Plate/dp/B01G44EBRI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1477050947&sr=8-2&keywords=8x10+steel+plate I also saw a steel silver plate somewhere on Amazon where supposedly you don't have to use any tape. Can anyone f...

Re: How to Prevent Top Layer from Being Filled?
Thank you both for your input! At least for this issue, the fix was setting the bottom and top layers to 0 although I do know this method of cutting prints that I performed was probably done sloppy thus leaving the top and bottom layers full! Thank you both!

How to Prevent Top Layer from Being Filled?
Please see attached. In the preview mode, the hole is empty but even when at 0% infill and, "Vase Mode", turned on, this hole gets filled which wastes time and filament and prevents this vase from being a real vase.

Splitting & Exporting a Model in Pieces
I'm having a hard time attempting to split a model, say a vase, into three pieces, and export each piece as a .stl file with Meshmixer. I can split the vase into three parts no problem! But from there all I can do is save them as a, "Stamp", or MeshMixer piece but when I go to export, even with one ...

Re: How to Inscribe Signature on Custom Made Print?
What would be the easiest software to use for this purpose? I probably don't want to place the letters one by one via TinkerCard. Maybe I would create the signature in a picture and then combine the picture and the print via SVG export and then .STL convert?

Wonderful! Thank you for your input as always and just for kicks, I've attached the current print that is whirling every ten seconds or so.
