Re: Better filament guide for the second extruder?
I think I know what I'm going to do - I'll use the filament guide that zemlin uploaded (thank you again) and then I'm going to buy this / these: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00RC0M8Q0 and mount two under my new table (IKEA Lack) and just feed the filament from under the table, up through zemlin's gui...

Re: Better filament guide for the second extruder?
Thanks all!
@zemlin - what do you use to hold both spools?
@jules - I've seen a few of those before and I may give them a try when I move the printer to a different table.

Better filament guide for the second extruder?
Hey everyone! So I've got my dual extruder going, and I've noticed that sometimes (when only running the left extruder for some reason) the filament will break right at the filament guide as the print head moves. Is there a better way to guide the filament so it's maybe a little further from the pri...

Ok I like that one!
Compact and pointing at the nozzles. I think I'll print that soon.
Thanks

Re: Question about bed fan
Hm thanks. I'll test print quality both ways to see if there is a difference just because the first way (which like you said looks correct from the instructions) didn't seem to point at the nozzles at all.

Question about bed fan
Hey everyone! So I printed this - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:443466 - to monitor my prints via octoprint. However, the way the bed fan came set up, like this: 20160814_082013.jpg Makes the bed fan hit the camera and knock it off. Is the fan supposed to be like that (tbh it seems like its point...

Awesome. thanks both of you!
I'll try the soapy water trick first and if it still gives me trouble I'll go to bare glass for now

Re: Applying the included kapton tape
That's the thing. I did reset my starting height. At least it didn't ruin the glass. Yeah that tape is way too precise to be done by hand.
The funny thing is, at the price this tape goes for, I'm almost better off buying a new glass plate with the tape on it for $25 the next time this happens
