Re: Metal Extruder Motor Mount - availabile
Sweet! besides being bomb proof and rigid, any other advantages I'm not obviously seeing here? I didn't get a chance to print a replacement printed motor mount yet, maybe I'll just buy this instead.

Re: PLA breaking question
These are some interesting ideas I've yet to make use of in my collection of filament. It's pretty ironic though that when PLA absorbs moisture, it becomes brittle. Intuition would indicate that it would become softer, therefore more flexible, take for instant dried pasta noodles and when they get s...

Good to know I can still use it once in a while if I need it. Hey Jules, this is the exact same color I'm having problems with on the other thread. Besides ...

Re: Filament snapped above extruder gear???
........busting the rice/dehumidifier thing awhile back. i dont think rice ended up doing anything for humidity levels. This reminds me of the argument why people put rice in salt shakers. its not so much to dehumidify the air, more so about having something in the salt to break up the salt and pre...

Re: Filament snapped above extruder gear???
ah, sounds good. I just never had this problem with the original PLA I got from MakerGear. That was even worse sitting at home on the spool holder for at least a month while I trialed print a ton of stuff. Home in open air is worse at 80% humidity, zero problems. Guess not all filament are created e...
