How to adjust x Limit switch M2
Not sure when this started, my x0 is about 5 mm in from the edge of the bed. Have a duet board but I don't think that has anything to do with it. When I home X it is not over far enough and the switch is in a fixed position. Do I bend the arm with a couple of little needle nose pliers?? Seems like i...

Re: Retrofitting a Duet 2 wifi into Makergear M2 Rev. E
Airscapes, I just realized that I missed one of your question posts before. I do not have a BL touch sensor. I mechanically level my bed using a dial indicator and recording the measurements in a grid pattern and then I strategically apply layers of kapton tape to the underside of the buildtak flex...

Re: Seam on PETG parts
One other thing to mention is the retraction and restart will not have any affect on that seam if you have "only retract when crossing open space" turned on (s3d last tab). With that check box checked, there is no retraction on the Z change. To me, the least amount of stops and starts the more solid...

Re: Seam on PETG parts
Hi! That looks like the Z seam and you really can't get rid of it. You can tell the slicer to put it in a certain location, like a corner rather than the middle of the curve. You may be over extruding a bit as well. You may want to drop the temp to 230, at least that is where I get best pet prints w...

Re: M2 stops extruding after an hour or two
look at the back end of the stepper motor. You will see hole with a silver shaft in that hole. Put a dot on it near the edge of the shaft with the felt tip pen so it is easy to see it turning as it turns slow. When you see the the shaft at the filament end stop, see if the motor end is also stopping...

Re: M2 stops extruding after an hour or two
Sounds like an internal gear issue. If you are not familiar that extrude has a center pinion gear, the one that comes loose, and a set of planetary gears. If the gear is loose, you have 2 options, clean it really good, and apply lock tight or Crazy glue. The glue worked for me until my new extruder ...

Re: M2 stops extruding after an hour or two
Assuming you filament tension is set correctly the following have happened to me over the years Bad Thermistor in the hot end or intermittent wire (they break at the hot end) Bad heater or wire in hot end Bad wiring harness Filament Drive gear loose on the shaft. Filament Stepper motor Pinions Gear ...
