I love hatchbox wood filament. It prints great and takes a stain really well. I am currently designing some new desktop speakers to be printed in it. Great looking box by the way

This is why I joined the EAA when it was 25 bucks. Access to Solidworks, granted the app has a learning curve like Everest and is the least intuitive piece of software I have used in a while - but its a stable entity.

If I do that, I get zits. I have not yet tried it though with no infill. I will and see how it looks. Infil is generally not responsible for the seam or the zits. You may just have to accept that FDM has limitations. You are talking about melting plastic and it reacts unpredictably. What I am seein...

Same temp, it will just take a little longer for it to come up to heat. That being said once it gets there it will be more uniformly heated and will hold that temp against environmental changes a lot better than glass.

Nice article and emphasizes several of the reasons I bought the M2 in the first place. Since I purchased the machine its been nothing but solid and reliable (and easy to add my own tweaks to).

Gotta go with insta on this. MIC6 will change your life. Glass is subject to warping, half inch thick Aluminium - not so much. And flat ... so so flat.

0.25 mm nozzles are a real challenge to print with. ANY small particulate can block the nozzle and cause at the very least a partial if not full blockage. If you have eliminated the filament randomly changing diameters as the reason this is where I would start looking. Things you can do 1) Cold pull...

You can specify where the seam is going to be in settings. I suggest on one of the long straights, I have had issues myself with S3D thinking the corner is the best place to hide the change, invariably gets overheated and looks like crap
