'Yeah. The only real benefit I can see in homeing at the bottom is it would be easier to try and restart an aborted print.

So what do I gain with the new spider. I have been unable to figure it out?

I could easily convert so I homed at the bottom with what I have. (Could be wrong I am guessing)

Its not really a big deal. .03 is typical for that style of indicator.

You have to remember that is .03 inches is aprox .75 mm

if you want one with double the range you can get the one from

It didnt seem real bad until I added the mic6 plate.

Z-axis brake

I have made a break for the z-axis on the M2 . It uses magnets to create a slip clutch that stops the z-axis from falling when done with a print.
