Jim . Your stuff is incredible. Your ability to recreate organic textures is impressive to say the least.

Its not really a big deal. .03 is typical for that style of indicator.

You have to remember that is .03 inches is aprox .75 mm

What is the difference in the black z axis and the silver one I put in to replace the one I had that ran hot . (New 2012)

It didnt seem real bad until I added the mic6 plate.
It was falling too fast.

I have made a break for the z-axis on the M2 . It uses magnets to create a slip clutch that stops the z-axis from falling when done with a print.
