Re: I cant seem to get nice prints
1. Are you using anything on the glass? Try hairspray or glue stick or diluted white glue. Bare glass will work for a few prints, but it will quickly stop holding on tight enough to prevent peeling up unless kept meticulously clean. 2. You are probably printing too far from the bed. Get a set of fe...

Re: I cant seem to get nice prints
Can I hijack this thread a bit: i have similar print issues. I dont have access to my configs until Monday though. Support bases tend to peel up, this is a really bad case of it: (as an aside i feel like where the infill meets the perimeter could be better.) 15846294214_5c73480fc2_z.jpg Overall qual...

Re: Project phone screen onto ceiling..?
I would recommend a projector connected to an apple airplay (for iphone) or similar device.
Our classrooms all have Airplays in them so if I need a quick video I just use my iPhone. works pretty well.

Re: How do I prep Printer for Non Use
Hey Nettjs, I'm in a similar situation. I'm helping the STEM program in my school with running their 3D printer. Unfortunately I didn't get the glory of unpacking the M2 myself so I have no pictures or experience to go off of for "Summer-izing" my printer. Care to post relevant pictures here or else...

Re: Need an extruder drive printed
I would PM Insta. He is helping me out with the extruder motor mount.
p.s. Mods could we get a sub forum for requesting printed parts from other members. maybe with an established value of the part?

Re: Modified Ikea enclosure
I haven't really had any problems with warping, so I'm not sure what problem I'm trying to solve. I think I'm trying to jusify to myself to spend the money on more gadgety electronics to hook up... My advice is stop justifying and just do. (not really sure why I have a triple GTX 480 watercooled se...

Re: Image or design Infill
so i guess a point here is that i dont want to use the 3d printer to make a 3d object, rather i would like to use the 3d printer as a 2d printer, that can print a representation of an image using the typical toolpath. I think I may have an idea on how to work around this...
