Re: Different layer heights for certain parts of a print and
Do you remember how to instruct it to do so? I'm a total newb with 3d printing and s3d. So far I have only printed using others profiles and really have no idea how I could do such a thing.

Different layer heights for certain parts of a print and...
I was wondering if it's possible to print with finer z resolution for just a certain section of a print. Mainly a section with a fairly steep overhang. I'm printing enclosures for my custom 52mm automotive gauges and the overhang areas print soo much nicer at .1 mm but printing the whole object at ....

Re: Buying printed parts
Any idea where the newer extruder motor mount file can be found? The extruder motor mount that came with my recently purchased m2 appears to be a improved version of the one found in the link above. Perhaps the image is old but the actual file is for the updated version?

Re: First several layers on this print look over melted?
The picture is miss-leading because the defect does exist all the way around the print. And the print never lifted from the glass.

Re: First several layers on this print look over melted?
Yes this was one of the included g-files. I've printed a 40mm calibration cube that came out well. All dimensions were within 0.25mm. Maybe it has more to do with the model only being one layer thick? It seemed to improve the further it got from the build plate...maybe the build plate needs to be at...

First several layers on this print look over melted?
I printed the maker gear bracelet again and noticed that the first several layers appear more melted then the upper layers. The top half of the bracelet came out fantastic. Is the lower half supposed to be smaller in height then the upper half or is it smaller because of the over heated/melted look ...

Re: Cracked the borosilicate trying to remove pla print...
I did. It was completely room temp. After trying to pry at it for a bit I ran the whole thing under water hoping the glue would wash away...which it did. But it still took considerable amount of force to pry it loose and that's when it cracked. A chip of glass actually remained stuck to the bottom o...
