Re: M2 part failure, HELP!

Thanks a bunch Steve, The new style looks like it'll outlive the machine itself. It almost appears that the break is from heat from the extruder motor.

M2 part failure, HELP!

Murphy's law surrounds me. Four hours into a six hour print the extruder motor mount fails and the entire print from that slice up is shifted 0.015" which is unexceptable since this would be the first print I'm doing for this company. I'm thinking the hole the failure happened around was designed in...

Re: S3D disconnect cancels print

Thanks for your help guys. Guess I'll have to do it like everyone else and pull the cable out, it works. Good enough for me!

S3D disconnect cancels print

In version 2.1.2 after starting a print from SD card through the control panel, then clicking the "Disconnect" button in the control panel my M2 just stops in its tracks. This didn't happen in the previous version. I can remove the usb from my Vista OS on laptop without the printer quitting but then...

Re: Another dead cooling fan?

The 12V 50mm fan I'm refering to was sent to me by MakerGear under warranty to replace a previously burned out fan. Was I sent the wrong one? Bummer.

Another dead cooling fan?

This is a replacement fan that has less than an hour on it! It's a 12V which replaced a 12V running on 24V I believe. I don't know if the culprit is the newest version of S3D I just updated to or if my M2 24V version just eats these things. Reason I ask about S3d is because when I started the coolin...

Re: S3D process sequence wrong

Thanks Jim. I thought I saw your initials over at Don Foley's site. Very cool stuff. Don's definately professional. The armillary prints out nice. Don figures out how to build in supports to avoid program generated supports.

Re: S3D process sequence wrong

Correct. The only workaround i could come up with is to slice it all and watch what sequence S3D is choosing then apply the skirt to the first model to print.

Re: S3D process sequence wrong

Thanks Jim. I must be missing something here and someone over at support S3D is having the same problem at least their description sounds the same. Say I have 10 models numbered 1-10. Each model with its own process and numbered so. You would think the program would start with model #1 and process #...

S3D process sequence wrong

I've noticed that S3D doesn't follow the process sequence I've set up. This is really difficult if I'm trying to put a skirt around my first model/first process in a set since S3D doesn't begin with process #1. Is there a way to to get the program to follow a sequence I set up or does it just assign...
