Adjusting bed height without recalibration
From time to time I swap between printing plates of different height (i.e. 1mm). Is there any way to to set z height without going thru 30 minute calibration routine on Rev E M2 machine? I know my corners are level, I just need to change overall start height

Re: nema17 dampers
I just took mine off... While noise reduction was awesome, my belts kept on loosing their tension. There's just no way to get it tight with rubber damper moving stepper. Maybe rubber wasn't of good quality on mine, but I decided not to risk it as I use this printer commercially and quality is priori...

Re: nema17 dampers
I seem to recall that the M2E is supposed to be quieter than earlier models. I don't find mine too objectionable, but I wouldn't mind making it quieter. Has anyone with a "E" model tried the dampers? if so, how much difference did it make? Thanks! Just did it on my "E" printer last week. Yeah diffe...

Re: Benchy quality issues.
WOW that looks identical to what I have printed with my brand new M2 Rev. E. It cannot be a coincidence. Are you using standard M2 S3D profile? I think it's something with settings in that profile...

Re: Print bed heat-up time
Ah I see, thanks guys! I didn't realize plate was aluminum for some reason I thought it was FR-4.
No problem, I guess I'll just have to live with it. Machine is amazing tho, real workhorse! S

Print bed heat-up time
Is it normal for printbed to take 10 minutes to warm up to 80C?
Could something be wrong with my machine?
I have Prusa i3 MK2s and it takes under 3 minutes with bigger bed and only 12V supply...

Burnt filament blobs ruining flexible filament prints
Hi, I just got my M2 Rev E few days ago. I'm not new to 3D printing (I have Prusa i3 MK2s and couple of CR-10), but I'm having serious issue with printing white Cheetah (flex) material on this printer. What happens is it seems that nozzle collects filament and towards end of 4+ hour print it deposit...
