Glass 3D printer
Saw this on Gizmodo: MIT’s Mediated Matter Group made a video showing off their first of its kind optically transparent glass printing process. It will soothe your soul. Called G3DP (Glass 3D Printing) and developed in collaboration with MIT’s Glass lab, the process is an additive manufacturing plat...

At least 1 has never been used and they all worked when I took them out of service in favor of the e3d which I love. I have waffled many times...

"Print the Legend"-Movie
I saw this on netflix. It's about 3D printing history focusing on the sellers of the "cupcake" from their start through their subsequent travails, Formlabs and their kickstarter start through shipping their first printers, and the guy who put up the first .stl files for a gun. I've followed this stu...

Re: Cracked the borosilicate trying to remove pla print...
I use a cricut spatula (small arts and crafts thing) to get corners and edges started. I've been using hairspray on glass lately and it seems to works fine with a nice shiny bottom (PLA). For kids' demos I'll continue with the blue tape wiped down with rubbing ETOH (2X). I prefer the simplicity (no ...
