Fine! I'll make my own NRA show, with hookers, and blackjack! On second-thought, forget the NRA show...
I guess I'm the only one going then.
M2 is printing out mountains of parts like a champ, didn't even have to level the bed after moving last month. Best printer ever.

Re: Thomas mold
Wow, that came out great. Did you do any finishing on the mold, or just use it as it came off the machine?

Any M2's going to be in Louisville this weekend for NRA meet
Since we discovered the week after SHOT Show that several of us were there in Vegas, I was wondering if anyone is going to be at the NRA annual meeting in Louisville this weekend.
I'll be there, unfortunately without my M2, too much other stuff to bring.
cheers,
c

Re: Is upgrading from V3 to V4 worth the $100? Why?
I bought the v4 and it sat on a shelf for a few weeks until I got a pretty good clog in the v3b (too clogged for guitar string), then I swapped them and haven't looked back. I haven't had a clog since I changed to the v4, not that I had a lot of clogs with the v3b. A big difference that I've noticed...

That's probably long enough to wear out the MicroSD card, because they were never intended for use as the storage device at the root of an OS filesystem. Based on what I've seen with Sony MicroSD cards, they can slow down, rather than return hard data errors: http://softsolder.com/2015/07/10/sony-6...

Re: New Extruder Drive Gear
I ran into a problem. . . The set screw on the old drive gear won't come out. The allen wrench is tiny; first, the wrench wanted to bend, and when I applied torque closer in, all I managed to do was to strip the set screw. So now what's the best approach? Drill it out? I realize that this question ...

Re: New Extruder Drive Gear
I just got a ship notification for the new gear. Yay! I volunteered for the last couple of beta things and this is the first one that I've been included in. I was starting to think that they didn't like me... I'm curious if the smaller teeth will have any effect on the banding that occurs when large...

Re: Raspberry Pi 3
I upgraded my SD card to a Samsung 16 gb Evo class 10 . Wow what a speed improvement across the whole spectrum !!! From rendering time-lapse to booting to streaming video and loading the Web page. Wow...just wow.... PcS, is this improvement on a Pi3 or a previous generation? I think that it may be ...
