3-Axis Cable Chain Upgrade
I've added cable chains to my M2 and I like it a lot. Assembly instructions and a parts list here: http://justine-haupt.com/makergearm2/MakergearM2CableChainUpgrade_AssemblyInstructions.pdf STEPs and STLs: http://justine-haupt.com/makergearm2/ Uploaded to Thingiverse but I'm new to that and I still ...

Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
If anyone is curious, I'm finding that Taulman n-vent seems to be better with bridging than eSun PETG. This picture doesn't show it all that well but it's a pretty big difference.

Re: Anyone want to share their process files?
I wanted to iterate that I feel it would be useful for a starting point . All the compatibility issues that are dangerous to the machine involve variation in end stop positions and other machine dimensions. OK, so anyone expoloring someone elses process file does so with the unerstanding that the de...

Re: Anyone want to share their process files?
One reply to this post? This is an ongoing bother to me. We all know there are countless little variations in the way M2s can be set up, as well as differences in user's operating environments (air humidity, etc), but I have a hard time understanding why it isn't easier to find folks' process files ...

Re: NinjaFlex as Flexible Support?
Hm, okay! I'm just this hour starting working on my v4 upgrade (to an early 2013 model M2) and thinking about the dual extruder option. Would like to start experimenting some more. Thanks Insta. At work there's a large Stratasys "Design Series", formerly Objet, and the guy who operates it expends co...

NinjaFlex as Flexible Support?
Greetings, I noticed on the upgrade page that Makergear sells a flexible support material, which struck me as a brilliant alternaitve to the dissolvable materials. Would rather pluck elastomer than deal with liquids. I see just one posting about that (http://forum.makergear.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=...

OH, okay, I didn't realize they're more or less the same thing, that's a bit of a revelation.

Re: Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
Okay. Is the concensus that it's not worth much attention now that PETG and ePC is available?

Eastman Amphora, Taulman n-vent
Has anyone tried Eastman's new AM1800 Amphora filament? Taulman is selling it as "n-vent". This is Eastman's press release: http://www.eastman.com/Markets/3D_Printing/Pages/Products.aspx And here's a zealous description: http://www.fabbaloo.com/blog/2014/9/7/amphora-may-revolutionize-3d-printed-plas...
