Re: right extruder retracts instead and vice versa
Firmware. Well, probably firmware. If you plug the wire into the rambo or the motor backwards, it should have the same effect. In Configuration.h: #define INVERT_E0_DIR false #define INVERT_E1_DIR true By default if you build your own, INVERT_E1_DIR is set to false. That's not right for this printer.

Re: problem in printing
While you've got that cover off, check the set screw for the filament drive gear. Make sure it doesn't have any play in it. Another thing to consider: Have you ever run ABS through this hot end? If so, you may have a small piece still in there just bouncing around sometimes clogging the flow. You co...

Re: problem in printing
Hi I looked at the extruder motor and attach a pic I clean the teeth but there is not melt bit of filament . How do I know if tension is proper ? \ Using the jog panel over usb cable (Symplify3d's machine control panel, or pronterface), feed a new piece of filament through the drive gear about 5 mm...

Re: problem in printing
How does the drive gear on your extruder motor look? My guess is that continuous, steady movement of the filament is working fine (so square boxes and straight lines look fine) but slower extruder moves are slipping (diagonals/etc). Take the plastic filament drive housing off the motor, I'd be curio...

Re: Request for Marlin/Arduino Expertise
Is this bugfix included in the current marlin firmware download on this site? http://makergear.wikidot.com/m2-firmware Ingo No, I don't see the fix in there. I have a model which was reproducing this bug, so I read up on it and added the fix from the linked marlin dev forum thread. Just open up Mar...

Re: Dual Extruder Firmware with VIKI LCD Panel
I think this has been discussed on the forum, but not for this particular Marlin fork.
My X axis is shifing mid-print. This design was expected to print straight vertical.
I need to debug this.

Re: Dual Extruder Firmware with VIKI LCD Panel
Thanks for sharing this. I just got around to upgrading the viki to work with dual filament now. RE: Memnarch1113 I don't think it's a hardware problem. Mine is behaving that way too. But I've noticed that if I home the Z access before I try to jog it, then it does hold its value. This behavior is o...
