Re: PEI Bed Surface
Hi kazolar, I am about to try PEI, is this the tape you used? http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Y7D0I6/ref=biss_dp_t_asn Thanks Since no one has mentioned it (at least not that I can find), I thought to start a topic on PEI print bed surface. I've been using PEI virtually the entire time I've had the M2,...

Re: eSUN ABS+ Filament
I have tested eSun black ABS+, at 240 degrees, Zebra plate at 100 degrees, it works fine with no visible warping. Haven't done any bending test though.

Re: Single V4 Extruder First Look.
Thanks Tim. That's what I thought. I remember saw a previous post talking about this and the maximum temperature threshold needs to be increased for V4.

Re: Single V4 Extruder First Look.
Just ordered single v4 upgrade :D One question: After installation, do I need to change anything in Simplify 3D? Do I need to calibrate the temperature sensor and the max allowed temperature in the firmware? Thanks! Nope! You will need to reset the Z-Stop (and do the Z-Offset and Filament Drive Scr...

Re: Zebra Plate
Is there a way you can set grid-based correction in Simplify3D? Thanks!Tim wrote:A Z-probe and grid-based correction is a great combination with the Zebra. No need to worry about how flat it is. Just calibrate and print.

Re: Zebra Plate
Yeah, I bought some bigger clips for it ;) Mine doesn't look like a simple bow on it, after using for a while, it got some slightly up and down on it, very small thought, in the .1 mm range, but that still matters when calibrating. What's PEI? Ooooh....you'd like it. It's a sheet of surface materia...

Re: E3D V6
I have, and I've been torn between the two for a while now... Ugg. What area of Michigan? I am deciding on which one to get too. My concern is abrasive filament, since E3D has steel nozzel as an option, it won't be a problem. What's the solution to print abrasive filament with V4? Simply replace no...
