Quieter Fans
Hi all, Forgive me if I missed this somewhere but is there a consensus on specific quieter fans to go with? I'm hoping to replace all 4 with quieter but almost equally effective fans that don't require modifying other electronics. I see 'Noctua' commonly on here, I'm just hoping someone can give me ...

Re: First Layer Wrinkles / Ripples
Thank you very much guys! The bed is actually very level sans some bowing in the glass. The first layer width and calibration squares are very similar on all areas of the bed. I know my Z gap (first layer height) is too close. I have it like that so I can print directly on to bare glass with no adhe...

Product Design in Los Angeles
Hi everyone, Just posting here in case this might be of interest to any of you. I recently went full time with launching a product design business. The website is pretty bare bones right now as I have been busy with client work but feel free to check it out: http://brchndesignhouse.com If anyone hap...

Re: Residential house - LA
Ya keyshot is no good for exterior lighting. Below is about the best I've been able to get from it. I downloaded the trial of octane a while back and like it due to the fact that I have a better gpu than cpu so it's pretty quick but keyshot suits my workflow better and is overall faster for me for s...

Re: Residential house - LA
I've been tempted to try vray. I use keyshot currently, but for product renderings (what I do) it's pretty good.

Re: educate me on the error of my ways!
I couldn't be happier with my M2. That being said, I regularly prototype parts that push the limit of at least one, sometimes 2 axis of max build dimensions. I certainly wouldn't complain about a larger build volume. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I'd much rather print a part as one piece. It s...
