Re: Simplify 4.0+ issues with M3-ID
Thank you for posting this. I've been pulling my hair out with 4.1 and stringing. I just visited the S3D forums and its supposed to be fixed in 4.1.1. A 2 hour print job on 4.1 slices as 1:45 job when using version 3. I'm going back to version 3. BTW, I've still got each version installed on my mach...

Re: Printing with Ninjaflex?
Yes its a different setup all together. My frustration finally reached a tipping point. I alternate printing abrasives and flexibles so it was maddening at times as the printed parts would wear out.

Re: Printing with Ninjaflex?
I upgraded my M2 to a Bondtech BMG extruder and a V6 hotend. Ninjaflex prints with no problems now.

Re: Bondtech BMG on M2
Yes, I upgraded my M2 with a BMG and an E3D. I use the metal motor mount flipped around and a replacement V4 single extruder mounting plate cut in half. I also replaced the stepper motor with a smaller one. I now am able to print with ninja flex without any problems vs problems with the original ext...

M2 REV D Upgrade Instructions?
I just got my 4 point spider and new Z top kit but no instructions. Is the final released version posted somewhere? The wiki page is empty and I can't find them on the tester thread. Its mentioned that they were emailed to testers.

Re: Using machineable wax filament
The machineable wax filament is difficult to print. I got a roll of the 1.75mm from machineablewax.com and gave up on it. It lifts and curls like crazy. Moldlay prints much better but is not that much easier to post-print process than PLA. Not sure what size your parts are but you might consider pri...

Re: Printing with MOLDLAY
Thanks for the link. Post pics when you get going. Yes, the size requires that I print the furnace in parts and then glue it together. Not a big deal since I'll need to remove the forms anyway after casting.
