Yet another camera bracket for the D-Link DSC Series

This is a camera holder for the D-Link DSC Series of IP cameras with a bracket that fits on a Makergear-M2. It may be placed in 2 positions (Vertical or horizontal) and slides in and out to "zoom". It replaces the standard camera bracket and screws into the back of the camera, which provides for swi...

Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament

New word - "Heat soak".
Now to balance the heat soak with the warp/bed adhesion (problem 2).
I would have thought it would have cooled if it was going to, it is not that small (perhaps 1x6"). but I can try some extra cooling time and a lower bet temp.

Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament

I should have been more clear. The corners (and some short sides) are pulling up, not hanging down. I have tried it with lower temps - exactly the ones in the front of this thread.
I'm not sure what the cause of the pulling up is, my guess would be that it is "head drag/pull" when it is soft.

Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament

I'm trying to print something long and dense with PetG (Using the blue because I have some). I have tried my original Petg settings and the ones on the start of this thread. Here is the issue: Problem 1: Corners of the print with some 45d overhang curl up - not a bed adhesion issue, this is up about...

Re: PETG failing to feed, any thoughts

honestly i prefer the textured surface stuff. that should not be the reason for your feeding issue. so the jamming is actually happening in the clear 2ft tube between the spool and the filament drive? No, I think it happens inside the extruder filament drive when the filament enters the lower hole,...

I noted that concentric Vs rectilinear made a difference, that may be what we are seeing.

Re: PETG failing to feed, any thoughts

I was just fighting with some PETG Feeding. I had the "natural" with a rough surface. The rough surface was jamming on the way through the extruder feed tube, catching on something. Tried tight/loose fast/slow and both the original (but somewhat cracked and hacked) ABS extruder as well as one in Pet...

Re: Poor horizontal-supported surfaces.

Your "supports" picture shows a very large support spacing. You need to use at least 3 dense support layers of 80% or more to get a good support layer if you're going to put curves on top of it. I also prefer a 2mm grid if the model is complex. Also, I have my bridging speed set very low, like 25% ...

Re: Public Service Announcements

Since you guys are so great at posting instructions, it would be useful to have one on "breaking down a hot end" - something I have avoided thus far. Questions that come to mind: * Do you unscrew the nozzle hot or cold? If cold, wouldn't internal plastic make it hard? If hot - ouch! * The nozzle fit...

WithS3DSupportRec.PNG [quote="jsc"]The blue indicates a slower speed, which means it's trying to bridge. It's taking the shortest path, which is generally vertical. Does your preview look like that? quote] Yes and no. When I print without supports it shows the bridge speeds. With S3D supports it do...
