Duplicating models with S3D
I know the basics of duplicating models with S3d. Issue is on larger models, 3 at a time is no big deal in 4 by an inch. When I go over 4 inches is when 3 models shows on the build table, but not in the preview/build mode and shows 1 model at a time. Which means changing the glass ever 40 minutes. R...

Re: Noobie...from the UK.
New hot ends are reasonable. If it's not extruding filament, make sure the machine accepts jog commands. I had a piece break off and jam the hole to the hot, discovered that by removing and inspecting the housing that attaches the hot end to the machine. Used Makergear support only once and they did...

Re: Best Bottomside S3D settings?
Thanks to jsc added more supports and printed the models vertical instead of horizontal. Result was 2 finished sides that looked much-much better. Here's the supports thru S3D: Models 003.jpg On the backside of the fish flasher models there's long pillars that hold the model just fine as it prints. ...

Glow in the dark PLA filament
Makergear does not sell a glow filament. So, I'm not trying to step on their toes.
I do need a recommendation on PLA white-whitish that glows a good strong green.

Re: Sainsmart LCD screen
I purchased the 99 dollar controller from Makergear that comes with instructions to hook up.
Haven't hooked it up yet of the mindset I'd lose my S3D functionality printing directly from a SD card.
Unless, factory files from S3D software are the saved files that's on the SD card?

Re: Networking
Cisco's Network Magic takes all the gremlins out of networking windows machines, printers, scanners, etc. Only issue is configuring the firewall/anti-virus programs to let files thru. Think it was about 50 bucks for up to 6 machines and worth every cent I paid for it. Not sure why so many want to ne...

I've had a phpBB board since 2004. Currently I use the Artodia: Helion style that offers a slightly larger easier to read Verdana font on a white background. Theme or style used here is the default phpBB sub silver, or pro silver. To see what free Artodia Helion theme looks like, please use the belo...

Going a long ways around the bush to do a simple job.
Zero issues since I went to using unscented Aquanet hair spray in both PLA and ABS.
Try it, you'll like it.
