Are there any heat resistance plastics, that an M2 V4 extruder can handle, that would work as a mounting bracket for the GPS in my boat?
Is it even possible to find plastic filament that can create parts that could handle the heat?

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
It's a little embarrassing that I didn't notice this initially. I wasn't thinking in 3D and only considered the components below the bed. I don't remember the setup instructions mentioning this, it may have, but if the clips at the top (back) edge of the glass aren't parallel with the Y-axis, they w...

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
I've discovered the problem finally.
Nothing but a simple case of me not being very observant.
I now have use of the full length of the bed in the Y-axis.
Thanks for all your help.

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
No grinding at all and the machine homes everything as it should.
I'd like to find a large .g file produced by another slicer other than S3D that I can print from an SD card to see if S3D is the issue.

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
Here's what I get with the switch closed... Y_min: TRIGGERED M119.JPG And then open...Y_min:open M119 open.JPG What does it mean? The bed will move full forward with the jog controls in S3D. It travels all the way to the stop. But it will not do it while printing. Doesn't seem like a hardware issue ...

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
I've done the 'home all' with the S3D jog controls to no effect.
I will see if I can figure out where the wires and the switch are.

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
So I just tried a 7" (177.8mm) x 9" (228.6mm) model in S3D. (picture below) If S3D were to center this print on the M2 bed as it should this size gives plenty of room for the clips. The M2 bed pic shows that the first bottom horizontal line starts off at about the correct place but as the bed moves ...

Re: S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
I will try a slightly shorter model.
But if S3D has some sort of block it's not working at the bottom edge because the nozzle hit the clips there.

S3D virtual machine does not match M2 Bed
So I created a rectangular model that just about fills up the virtual machine bed in S3D. But when I try to print it the top edge of my M2 printer bed does not travel all the way to the nozzle in the Y-axis. You can see that the top horizontal line of plastic is extruded about 3 inches short of the ...
