Re: Electronics / Hotend Fan not running after dual upgrade

Try letting the extruder warm up and see if the fans kick on. The fans should kick on when the extruder reaches 50 deg C.

Re: 3D Print surface that "flexes"

If you're printing in PLA, just let the glass cool and your parts should pop off easily.

Re: PLA curls very badly upon extruding

I don't think PLA is affected by paint thinner. Disassemble the hot end and take a propane torch to the nozzle. I usually heat mine to a dull red glow. It should reduce anything clogging the nozzle to ashes :D

Shouldn't this be in the Software section instead of Tech Support?

I'm sure once the guy found out that people were on to him for having stolen equipment and knew his contact information, it was probably wise not to make it any worse and just return it.

Re: S3D Imports Design on Its Side

I think its normal. Things get flipped around when I import in from Solidworks. Just double click on the object name in S3D and rotate about the axis' as needed. Click reposition and center to reset it to the center and oriented it flat to the build surface. Sorry, don't know the name of the buttons...
