Thanks airscapes,
I just got back around to looking into this and that's exactly what happened... I fat fingered and changed the M203 to 4.68 instead of the M205. I'm still not sure how to explain the motor reversing but at least everything is working again the way it should.

Re: Z axis speed at start up?
I wish it was that easy but I use S3D for a slicer and the files I print is the same g-code I've printed numerous times through octoprint. As for the profile in octoprint it's just the default one and nothing has ever been changed.

Z axis speed at start up?
Is there a way to change the z axis speed at the start of a print? I'm not sure what I did but this printer been running for years with no issues. I was changing the z height by checking with M500 and then M206 ect. like I've done many a times. I'm not sure if I changed something by mistake but the ...

Sorry I have not used it.... that was added on a request and I never heard back whether it worked or not but you can try asking the guy in the comments section on the Thingiverse page if he used it.

Re: Flexible Magnetic Build Surface for the M2/M3
Beta testing has nothing to do with promoting anything.... this is a marketing ploy masquerading as a "Beta Test" plain and simple.... this line is a dead giveaway.

Looks like you have to buy 5 or more now to get the old $10 price.

Re: printing bones, bottom knuckle curls up, how to fix?
I would probably split the tip off so it prints on a flat area then just print the tip separate and glue them together. You could probably do this right in S3D but dropping the part below the print surface. (z offset) Just import two of the same part and flip one over. You just have to make sure the...

Re: Expiration Date on Filament?
Ninjaflex needs to be dried, is that correct? I did not do that prior to first use.. How bad does is suck up moisture.. PLA like or Nylon like?? I don't think so... its flexible so it's not going to get brittle. I have an off brand of flex (Zen Toolworks) that I've had for 4 years and it still prin...

Re: Expiration Date on Filament?
It all depends on how good the filament is as well as how it was stored. Like you I store my filament in Plastic tubs (my lids have seals) with silica gel packets and I have Makergear filament that came with my printer and is 4+ years old that is still fine. Then I have other cheap stuff that is les...
