Re: Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
I am running the latest version of S3D and I saw the notes about USB enhancements as well. After my first attempt failed, I was hoping the update would help..but obviously it didn't. I will say my second attempt got further along but did not complete. I am not running a LCD anymore... I wish there w...

Print stops (incomplete) after 20+ hrs...need help
Hey gang, I'm trying to print some brackets at 100% infill in PETG and the print job takes 24+ hrs. I've tried to print these a couple of times and each time the print stops/fails before completion. Any way to determine what is going on? I'm kicking off the print via S3D, using print from SD card (S...

M2 and S3d Machine Control
I had something strange happen today. I believe my USB hub failed, which made me unable to connect to my M2...When I finally figured out what it was, I changed out my hub... I'm now able to connect to my M2 via S3D using their Machine Control Panel, however I cannot control the M2! I cannot do anyth...

Re: Length of a new spool? Determining amount of filament le
Good point! If there is risk in running out..switch it out before bed...I could always switch back to run through the rest of the spool..

Re: Length of a new spool? Determining amount of filament le
Jules, I just did your method to swap a spool...I was sitting here and I heard the end of the filament come off the spool so I quickly setup another...It seems to have worked! ...now if only I could stay up 24x7 for when this happens while I'm asleep!! ;-) That takes all the sport out of it! Think o...

Re: Any tips on removing dense support?
I may need to just reprint...This was a good lesson in orienting the model in different ways and generating supports. I see now that if I had oriented it differently and had S3D generate supports there would have been allot less support to deal with...cuts down on wasted plastic and time spent print...

Any tips on removing dense support?
I've been printing some larger curved objects with allot of support...The challenge is removing the support...
I've mainly been using needle nose pliers to try to remove, but I was wondering if folks have other (better) ways of removing the support?

Re: Length of a new spool? Determining amount of filament le
Thanks Slipshine! Here are two spools I'm currently using...You'll notice they are both white PLA...I started a separate spool because I was worried I'd run out of filament on a long print...but now I run the risk of having allot of partially used spools...
