Re: Printing a part to the edge of the build plate

Also, if its feasible to print the 10x1.5 edge on the bed (rather than the 10x7), then you can rotate it should easily fit. This is highly dependent on what the model is though, and what direction it makes sense to print in. I've wondered about this too. I use the 8x10 plate to ask students what's ...

Re: Distributing mass in a print

I figure the M2 could do it if the software could tell it what to do. From my (very basic) understanding of slicers (S3D being my preferred one for its simplicity), layers can be modified for infill (~mass) but not sections of layers individually.

Distributing mass in a print

I saw this on bbc.com. Is this possible on a M2? With S3D?

Re: Call for sample prints

I like the "torture test". Not an interesting thing but it's good for testing and adjusting your printer.

Re: Software to include with the M2?

I also agree with jimc and Tim. I used repg in the past and for me the $125 for Creator was worth the $ saved on advil. Those who want to can use the open source programs (I've heard good things about Cura, all from Ultimaker owners though). As long as you're clear about this your customers should b...
