Re: M2 Auto-Leveling Kit (Beta)
One question, after watching the youtube video.. Is the voltage coming out of the Z-min 12V even though I have upped my PSU to a 24V PSU? Just saw this post---voltage coming out of the signal for Z-min should never exceed 5V, because it is a direct input into the microcontroller, and the microcontr...

Re: M2 Auto-Leveling Kit (Beta)
So.. I'm ready to take the plunge, I think. One question, after watching the youtube video.. Is the voltage coming out of the Z-min 12V even though I have upped my PSU to a 24V PSU? Also, if anyone have a fresh branch of code, with VIKI or even VIKI2 support to point me to, that would also help a gr...

Re: nema17 dampers
I installed these as well.... Interestingly enough, I totally missed that they had one side with threaded holes, so I think I put them in upside down... and had a tweezer holding a small nut in place until I could pull it tight... (I will fix that next time I am doing maintenance on the machine... I...

Re: Mic 6 tooling plate
Thank you, Jim.
Always good to have a backup plan ...
Will definitely look around if I can find something like that.

Re: M2 Viki 2.0 Firmware - Can anyone get it to work? (Link)
So, I shelled out for a Viki2.0 from Panucatt.. it said on the page they do support RAMBo, and I've modified my Marlin 1.0.2.1 after Ed's blog ..
But for the Panucatt, what else is needed? Messing around in pins.h?

Re: Mic 6 tooling plate
I'd really like to get my hands on one of these plates... I've been printing lately on to my heating plate which is covered in BuildTak, and it seems the plate is sagging a bit in a corner or two. Besides, I just got an induction sensor and am eager to get that going as well.. Don't suppose you're s...

Re: Status LED
I use Octoprint as a host, but since there is a status LED on the RAMBo, I figured it might be possible to connect an LED strip (or some logical version thereof) from that.
I'll dig through the outputs on the RAMBo board and see what I can find..
Thanks =)

Re: Busted thermistor ?
Just got word from Josh at MakerGear. It is indeed a busted thermistor, and they are sending me a new one free of charge. The Customer Service by this company is so great, and that alone would be enough to keep me recommending them to people wanting to buy a 3D printer. The fact that it is also buil...

Re: Status LED
As far as I can tell, the RAMBo card does not have any leads for having an external LED for status, unfortunately. If there are any outputs available, I guess I can make something similar with a tiny arduino to interpret the signal and change it to send out proper output to, say a Neopixel strip... ...

Status LED
So .. quick question:
Have anyone made any modification to have an RGD LED strip in the M2, that changes color when bed is heated, and extruder is warm .. (and can then be nice and white when the print is ongoing) ... or something to that effect?
