what are good ways to get it unstuck? problem is its quite a wide & short object and hard to pull out.

From the comments on here, it looks like my extruder is way too far above the bed. I'll try squishing it.

Also I noticed that black PLA sticks much better than my translucent green PLA. Anyone get those differences between colors?

I still have adhesion problems with painters tape with bed at 70C. What are the first layer height, extrusion width and z offset you guys use? I use 0.35mm height and width for 1st layer, z offset 0 with endstop being 0.25mm above bed. No fan for first layer and a speed of 15mm/s. Also is the infill...

Increasing extrusion width didn't help, its just too strong.

I tried Meshmixer and its great! Exactly what I was looking for with overhangs.

Thanks. Yes I was also looking for the gap option but some setting dont seem to change anything.

But just now I tried increasing the extrusion width of the support material and it looks to give more gap, will try it out.

I am having trouble with removing the support material with using slic3r, they get stuck pretty good.

Anyone have recommendations? I read that simply3D is good but I want to see if its possible to get it working with slic3r or any other free tools first.

I just pressed the belt clamps on something hard (like my bed's metal frame ) to put the nuts in.

Anybody found that the pulley height on the motors had to be adjusted?

Also why is the flimsy electronics box attached to the frame from just 1 panel with such a strong bolt/nylocks? Seems strange.

What is the power input for the printer? 120V?
What should I do if the power source here is 230V? Buy a step down transformer?

Do all the necessary tools come with the printer?

I forgot to ask, is it safe to operate the printer in your bedroom? Are the fumes non-toxic and do they leave a long lasting smell? Will opening a window easily clear out all the smell after a print?
