Re: Filaflex vs ninjaflex

I have had no problems swapping out Ninjaflex to PLA to PETG and back on my e3d v6. I even posted a video on youtube to that affect. I did have some problems with eSuns semi flex that I bought a while back. After about 1/4 roll it clogged the nozzle and I had tear it down and clean it out. This may ...

Re: A new extruder version for the e3d hot end

Sorry for the long delay in responding to your question about print quality. I had done a lot of printing with the direct drive and some with the bowden side when I was still using the old extruder with an adapter to make it a bowden. The print quality is as good if not better than the original setu...

Re: Two corners bad, two corners ok

It is hard to see but is the edge on the left at an angle for the first 20 or so layers, like a chamfer? If it is I would say this looks like curl. Where the edge is being printed further out from the one below and it curls up. Then when the next layer is put down further out it will either push dow...

Re: Just picked up a M2

I still have the split power and have not done any soldering of the power. I don't do much ABS but run the PETG at 100C. I still have at least 4 of the v3a. At least 1 has never been used and they all worked when I took them out of service in favor of the e3d which I love. I have waffled many times ...

A new extruder version for the e3d hot end

Hello all, This is an entirely new design for the e3d hot end on the M2. There is a hybrid direct and bowden version for dual hotends and one that is direct drive for a single hot end. I have been sitting on this thing for a while now, not feeling like I really tested it enough but it is time to let...

Re: Printing with eSun flexible

It will pop right off as it cools. I am not sure how tolerant it is to being dirty. I try hard not to touch the bed more than needed as an old habit from running just a clean glass bed. After each print I give it a quick misting that evens it all out again. After a little while It builds up and I wa...

Re: Printing with eSun flexible

I got a roll of this as well to test out my newly designed extruders for the e3d. I designed the extruder so that the PTFE tube was nearly continuous from the roll to the hotend with a small section missing where the gear is. I had great success printing several hollow 40x40 test cubes without tops ...

Re: Slice this!

I have not tried it but I think you can tell S3D to use the one perimeter starting at a particular layer by using 2 process.
