Re: Cylinders aren't round
Thanks to all for your help and thoughts. Ednisely: The set screw is firm against the flat part of the shaft. Jules: The rail was cleaned and lubed. Just as some additional info, I took the build plate and heater plate off to check for loose screws both on the part that mounts to the slide on the ra...

Re: Cylinders aren't round
Hotend is all tight. The flats are along (parallel to) the X axis, which means it is a Y axis issue. I can find no slop or play in either axis. I also cleaned and lubed the axis rails to eliminate that as an issue. Printing through OctoPrint and connected directly to the computer via USB produce ide...

This print shows what I'm talking about: calibrationproblem.jpg I don't know if this is a recent problem or not since I only found i...

Supports Advice
Looking to the group gurus for advice on getting a smoother finish on the bottom of curved parts. The part below shows what I'm getting currently with a layer height of .2mm. I've also attached a pic of the support settings I'm using in S3D.

Could you share a photo once it is installed? I'm having trouble visualizing the issue you are having.

Re: Print Settings for PETG: eSUN Solid Black Filament
Thanks so much for this thread. I've been printing with some eSUN PETG based on the FFF file posted here. I'm really digging the results. Good surface finish, great strength, good dimensional accuracy and good flexibility. However, I'm frustrated with one aspect. I can't seem to get rid of the burnt...
