Re: Kit instructions update? Or same since 9/2013?

I got my kit last week and the instructions were clear enough for me to follow. I recommend going through both the building instructions and the electronics installation manuals before doing anything, this way you will know what to expect. The most confusing part for me was figuring out where everyt...

Judge my print!

Hello all, I printed a bridge test print last night and was hoping to get a more experienced eye to look at it. To me it looks like an 8 out of 10. The corners have some odd issue but I don't know what that is called. I shrunk the part in S3D because it was going to be HUGE! so I am not sure how wel...

Re: PLA curling up issue

Thanks for the advice guys. I do not have the problem with it curling off the bed (yet!) but will keep the elmers glue in mind. I have been using Aquanet since I had the Flashforge and I swear by it! that stuff holds great. Most of my prints actually stick too well! I wash the glass with hot water a...

Re: Buying the M2: Help me start out right

I am glad I could be of help to somebody! You are going to love the M2! I posted a bunch of pictures of my build over on rcgroups. The only snags I ran into were the screws for the spool holder are listed as M3 when they are really M4. And there weren't too many good pictures of the Z-stop switch in...

Re: Buying the M2: Help me start out right

I just received mine the other day and I can say I am more than satisfied with my decision. I previously owned a Flashforge Creator, which wasn't bad...... it just wasn't that great either :) I wanted something more professional that didn't have to mess with as often and that wasn't made of wood. Af...

PLA curling up issue

Hello all, My M2 is only a few days old and has been printing up a storm! just about everything I have printed so far has came out perfectly with one exception and not on any particular print. When printing an overhang with no support at a sharp corner I notice the PLA tends to curl up. On a larger ...

Re: M2 part failure, HELP!

Was just browsing through your thread and saw my name! I feel special :) That is the extruder motor mount that came with my kit so it must have been updated.
That is one crazy looking print that you were printing for your customer. I can't imagine what the heck it is for!

Re: I have officially joined the community!

Good, because I haven't printed them yet! I just installed the new fan mount. looks way better than the tiny stock one! Anything else you would recommend I do to the printer? Any areas I need to pay particularly close attention to? Thanks again!

Re: I have officially joined the community!

Looks nice! I am about halfway through the fan mount. Will have to print those brackets tomorrow. Is PLA okay to to print those in or should I use ABS since they will be touching the HBP? I am still blown away by how much better this thing prints than my old flashforge! holes through vertical surfac...

Re: I have officially joined the community!

wiring is re-done. Added the end g-code you gave me and am getting ready to print the fan mount.

This might be a dumb question but I noticed in the post processing that you can add a celebration tune..... will that work with the M2? I know it is cheesy but I think it would be cool :)
