V4 Dial Indicator Mount
Anyone here created a mount for a V4 hot end? I had a nice clamp mount that worked great with the V3b without taking the fans or other parts off. It was quick an easy. http://www.thingiverse.com/make:114608 Now that I have a V4... well. Looking for something that works without disassembling fans and...

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
If I was on a Mac I wouldn't be using Octoprint at all that's for sure. I hope to change that soon as the old Mac died and I need a new one. It's Windows 10 that's causing me headaches and now the need for middleware. The computer that I've been using for the last two years on the M2 and Printerbot ...

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
One Mac, one M2, S3D and go. I don't get the need for a print server, extra hardware and extra steps in between. I must be missing something... but I'm willing to learn.

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
It works fine but it's just extra steps and more stuff to fiddle with. Printing direct from S3D via USB is just so much faster and easier. The second I scrape up a few extra bucks I'll grab a Mac Mini. If it wasn't for just dropping almost 5k on a storage building in the back yard I'd already have o...

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
I finally!! got Octoprint working this morning but I really hate it as a solution. My only other option is a new Mac I guess.

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
Interesting. For me the only time I experience pauses is using Windows 10. I've been printing using S3D on a Mac via USB for well over a year and never had one single glitch or pause... until my Mac died and I switched to a Windows 10 box.

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
I've checked and rechecked everything I can find and read just about everything I can find related. Started to go the OctoPrint route but can't even get the Wifi going. Spent about 7 hours so far just on that. I'm ready to give up and just spend the money on another Mac Mini to run the printer and b...

Re: Stops at random points in the middle of the print
Been printing flawless for the last three weeks, couple dozen prints at least. Out of the blue the pause problem is back. I don't get it.

Re: Build plate, high spot in the center...
Found the issue. Don't know why I didn't sport it earlier. Its the aluminum heating plate not the x rail.
