in my opinion, if you don't need wither dual colors on the same layer, or need to use some kind of desolveable support material, then there is no need for dual extrudes. in fact, the second extruder can be a pain in the buttocks. because it will drag across the print under some conditions. Theres no...

Re: Diamond single-nozzle multiple extruder
ah.. yes ... that would makes sense. Though it would take jamming to a whole new level :D and yea, each model would need a color map. though, i have seen some processes that add jet ink coloring for each layer. so someone has already done it. as a practical point, i wonder if the color would actuall...

Re: Mostly Printed CNC
It's actual been sitting...i ahd a few more important things that i needed to concentrate on.
I did some torque tests on my new steppers, just to be sure they were to spec, and they are.. then stopped.
I should have some time cumming up to get back at it.

Zebra plate is good for other materials, jsut not ABS i've been hearing good things about PEI but haven't tried it yet myself, probably my next purchase. I've had things stick well with...

Re: Hot End Temperature Rises Then Falls Rapidly
a few other possibilities: Could be a bad Thermistor, or even a Thermistor not making good thermal contact. I had a similar problem that your describing, temperature would curve way down, then overshoot. turned out to be the rambo board. I've seen this also happen with a bad PID tune, but, since it ...
