Define really hot. I have stepper motors running at 80 degrees C (not on an M2). All within manufacturer's spec.Is the motor really hot? yes? current's too high. No need for the rest of that sciencey gobbledygook.

Car batteries are great welders. They'll weld anything. Screw drivers, wrenches, belt buckles ..............I tried to make a go cart frame using a car battery as a stick welder. Life on the farm.

insta, go ahead and upgrade your systems - I haven't ordered yet and would like to get the "keyed" connectors.Based on how MakerGear and I seem to operate, I fully expect them to carry keyed plugs on the harness about a week after I've upgraded every wiring harness I have

Uh, I now wear leather gloves for all parts removal and for some support removal as well. You probably don't have to ask why.I managed to put a very dull palette knife rather deeply into my hand

Each tool has its strengths and its weakness. It's not that important which tool you use, but is important what you do with it. Cheap, crude tools can make wonderful things and very expensive full function tools can make crap. I have several different software tools and I pick which one to use based...
