So a while ago I posted a photo of my first print with the Black Esun PETG and it looked like a giant messy blob. This is what it turned out to be (the Sabretooth Skulls).

I've been having a rough time with my PETG prints, stopping extrusion or jamming... Even before a print, if I tell the machine to extrude manually, I can start the filament in, but then it will just stop; as if there is a tension problem (maybe too much, maybe not enough). But if I push the filament...

My preferred process for cleaning the V4 is to remove the nozzle while cold (which tends to separate the plastic from the nozzle, leaving a bunch of dirty crap on the filament itself), purge the filament through in a big fat rope (since there's no nozzle anymore), and fry the nozzle with a blowtorc...

When you guys talk about using Nylon for cleaning, do you mean doing a few cold pulls? Visually it seems like cold pulls really work. Does anyone else do them?

This is exciting! Especially the select a surface to place on the bed. I've spent too much time trying to place things that were cut at weird angles to be completely flat.
